Heavyweight speaker joins sustainability debate
The Sustainability Manager across the ASSA ABLOY EMEIA division, Leandro Peraro, will take his place on the sustainability debate panel at Glazing Summit 2021.
Leandro is responsible for operational sustainability and driving cross-functional projects for performance improvement whilst reducing environmental footprint.
With tackling climate change now centre-stage and the world moving to a sustainable future, how the fenestration industry responds to both the legislative changes and consumer demand for low-carbon, energy efficient and sustainable solutions for the home will be crucial.
Joining Leandro on the ‘Is it time to embrace a sustainable future?’ debate will be John McComb, Technical Services Director at Reynaers Aluminium, Charlotte (Mercer) Hawkes, Head of marketing for UK, APAC, and South Africa at Edgetech, Mark Gajda, Head of Technical Services at Rehau, and Simon Scholes Managing Director of Veka Recycling Ltd.
Andrew Scott, Glazing Summit founder, said: “We are delighted to welcome Leandro Peraro onto our panel for our sustainability debate. We have five fantastic speakers on stage to tackle how the fenestration sector is contributing to climate change, how industry leaders are responding to both the legislative changes and consumer demand for low-carbon, energy efficient and sustainable solutions for the home, and what opportunities lie ahead.”
This year’s Glazing Summit is set to tackle the big issues and shape the future of fenestration on Thursday, October 21 at Edgbaston Stadium and Conference Centre, Birmingham
More than 300 leaders from across the industry are set to attend the Glazing Summit.
