The Glazing Summit will be in safe hands once again this year with the announcement that Chris Champion will be compère for the day.
Chris, editor of Glass News, chaired the afternoon discussions at last year’s inaugural event and he’s looking forward to another strong Summit.
“It’s great that the Glazing Summit is back for 2019 after a strong first showing last year and it should be a regular fixture in the industry calendar,”
“The format of the day worked really well with a good mix of panel debates, expert speakers and networking opportunities.
“So, I’m delighted to be compère and am looking forward to helping our panellists discuss the biggest issues currently facing the industry.”
Andrew Scott, the founder of the Glazing Summit and CEO of glazing industry specialists Insight Data and Purplex Marketing, said:
“We’re delighted that Chris has agreed to chair the debates again this year and are looking forward to him leading what promise to be some excellent discussions.”
The Glazing Summit takes place on Thursday, September 12 at Edgbaston Stadium and Conference Centre, Birmingham.
More than 400 fabricators, installers and suppliers are expected to attend the one-day conference which will tackle everything from sustainability and recycling through to the skills shortage and rouge traders.
There will also be discussions on the impact of smart technology, Grenfell and Brexit, and a panel of experts will discuss key issues around selling your business or how to grow through acquisition.
