INSTALLER DEBATE: Running a business in uncertain times

Installers are the frontline of our industry. We bring together several firms to share their experience and highlight the tough issues they face – from order-books they can’t fit due to labour shortages, supplier, price-increases months after jobs have been sold, to managing customer expectations in a compensation and social-media culture. We also deep-dive into the latest consumer trends, from high-demand products to online quotes and ordering. Be prepared for some sparks!


DEBATE: Is it time to get out, or scale-up?

The industry is facing its biggest ever shake-up since Covid-19 struck. Big names such as Synseal (Aperture) and Sash UK have collapsed, while corporates such as Customade Group and Everest have phoenixed under a black cloud of pre-pack administrations. Elsewhere, mergers and acquisitions are rife as the industry consolidates, and Private Equity and restructuring firms circle. But is it all bad?
